What's for lunch?

    You know, mayonnaise is very, very easy to make from scratch...especially with a blender. It's a little workout to do it by hand with a whip though. you can add fresh herbs, seasoning combinations...anything.

    I made avocado mayo at the cafe recently.

    I grew up near a kid who would put mayo on his grits. I couldn't eat around the guy, it was disgusting.

    I've made mayo a few times from a recipe I found in one of the River Road cookbooks. Its pretty good but for a burger give me Blue Plate or Hellmans

    that is disgtusting! salt, pepper, and butter. if really going to town, serve a fried egg with hot sauce on top. but mayo? gag.
