In any case, it seems like a ticky tack call to me. How often is it called, I wonder. It hurts when your stud RB takes it the house 87 yards putting him over the 300 yard mark. In my mind, Ritter's bunch was looking to call something on us every time we had possession. How does one explain Syracuse having only 4 penalties? They got away with a bunch I thought.

We had 14 for 120. As soon as I saw bug eyed Ritter was the head zebra I knew we were in deep shit.

Saw the inside guy check with ref twice and moved back. Guess that WA Dupree.

It's called a lot. Syracuse played less sloppy than LSU and the officiating was poor. That's still no excuse for all the penalties that LSU was actually guilty of.

    LaSalleAve when in doubt, mumble

If you look at that screen shot it looks like he is lined up correctly. Don't look at the imaginary line.

I'm with you there. It looks okay to me, at least from this angle.

The slot WR is two yards off through LOS. Not sure how close he needs to be, but he's definitely a yard farther back than the tackle.

The green line is the LOS. Why wouldn't you look at and consider it?
