It doesn't help that he has watched the entire baseball teams pitching staff implode over nite. I wonder if the thought of them possibly just not being able to compete is creeping into his mind.
or wondering what is going on that so many are developing elbow problems. those could end a career. or has "insider knowledge" of why pitchers are also transfering. including matulis who was probably gonna be a starter. its not like matulis wasnt gonna get time on the mound at the very least.
bhelm do you have any info. on how Barrett Bailey is doing? I have heard him mentioned on some radio shows as looking good. I know he was greyshirted last year and will likely redshirt this year but haven't heard much about camp.
I actually didn't hear he greyshirted. He originally came on as a walk-on but I assume the staff changed his status because he is listed as a freshman on the roster. THat should be a good sign about his development as well. I hear he looks pretty good and has a lot of potential. He was actually running with the Jarrett Lee as 2nd string QBs this past scrimmage.
