While the secondary is not up to the level we had two years ago, I don't think that you could say they are 'not very good.' And I didn't realize Brodie was that awesome of a passer. Has he put together a three to four game stretch where he passed the ball well? Was he part of the team that scored 10 points on us last year? What games has he 'burned' a SEC secondary?
Actually I read that thread before reading this one, and I believe everyone else on that thread, the Tide fans...corrected the original poster...I would have to double check to be sure. Blanket statements......
I checked and as I thought, I was correct.. 3 or 4 Bama fans talked about how slow Russell is....nice try though.
LSU will win if they: 1. Stop the bama running game. 2. Do not turn the ball over 3. Make good decisions and take what the bama D gives them. 4. Blitz.... Get pressure on Croyle the entire game. Bama could easily win this game if LSU makes too many mistakes. If LSU plays focused, they should win by two scores.
All I ask for is that if you turn the ball over a couple times and we win, dont make excuses and say that it's a fluke. TO's are a part of the game and most of the time, a defense CAUSES them. Now, if you fumbe without anyone touching the runner and we run it back, then you can get upset...LOL
Same goes for penalties. When we knock the last hail mary down in the endzone, causing Bama to lose..and the ref doesn't call contact on our DB - then no complaining. Penalties are part of the game, and they happen every down...you can't call them all.
