This is what I don't get about all of the efforts to blame Fox News here. Fox's only involvment was that the fear of them running the story scared the crap out of the Obama people (including the NAACP) so they tried to pre-empt the bad press by firing the woman. Hell, The N C double A PP (to quote Archie Bunker) owned the freakin tape and had the entire thing in their possession the whole time.

Something you cant admit, Fox News is a outlet for right wing propaganda, just like MSNBC is a outlet for left wing propaganda and I aint trying to pretend like they're not.
They lean right of center for sure. Like I tried to tell dim tiger, don't get all wadded up about opinion commentators. If you don't like their view point, don't watch them. What has you Obama lovers so riled up is that Fox News commentators are exposing Obama for what he really is and you can't stand it.
Im not riled up about anything, Im just laughing at the fact that you are pushing this fair and balanced bullshyt here, I think its hilarious. The white house is at fault in this situation as well and Im not trying to PRETEND they are not, but false news has culpability in this as well for airing the edited piece, which you have flatly denied. Then continue to try to say, oh they are fair and balanced, opinion commentators are apart of the network, just like Maddow is apart of MSNBC, which gives people a clue of the network philosophy and Murdoch makes no bones about his agenda. Its something to be said about your intellectual dishonesty.
I disagree. The misreporting of this story, which was corrected almost immediately, had nothing to do with her getting fired. What is the story here? That the news(not only Fox) got it wrong and corrected it the next day? Or that the White House and the NAACP threw her under the bus because they got it wrong? The news has not hurt her. In fact, because they bothered to correct it and give it air time, her boss was forced to apologize to her, eat sh!t on national tv, and offer her a job. Truth is, that that the news didn't screw her over. They helped her.
The tape WAS NOT edited. It wasn't run in it's entirety, but it's a distinction. O'Reilly took the blame for not checking it out but, in his defense, he invited her to appear and give her side, but she refused, lest it fk up her upcoming lawsuit. Frankly, you are no different than me, you just have an opposite viewpoint when it comes to Obama Marx. When we elect a white guy (or gal) in 2012 you'll find we have a lot in common. Great. You pick the night when the dumbest MFer in the world is on. Smith has no business dicussing politics. He was clueless. He kept changing his viewpoint. I do give him credit for not necessarily toeing the party line, though.
All have fault, my point is if the edited piece was picked up from the website from Fox news, which was put up on the website by this guy Brietbart a hard right conservative, if you dont see the connection, then its just a matter of opinion now, but this would have played out differently with the entire video shown. The NAACP and the White House screwed up, no question about that, they were trying to condemn this lady because of the backlash of her perceived racism and the fact that she works for the government, the white house and the NAACP were both playing, "hey look at me, we can be fair" it backfired horribly.
