No I wasn't aware of that. I'm just around people too much. I constantly have to fill out paperwork for food stamps for MEN (of all races) who are able to work but don't, and I have become very bitter. I need to check myself. I don't think the kid was a thug for smoking weed, that would be a tad hypocritical. However if he did try to wrestle the gun away, i'm not gonna say he deserved to die, but I can't say that was a very smart thing to do.
Agreed. Well, I spent the last 30 minutes googling for "Sharpton black on black crime" and "Jesse Jackson black on black crime" . . . and I ain't seeing it. I found a 1984 statement by Jackson decrying black on black crime, but practically nothing from either of them in recent years. They certainly are not crusading against it. They normally only get involved in white on black crime. That's what I'm seeing from the Notorious Two. On the other hand many other legitimate black leaders have addressed black on black crime as you describe, the NAACP, 100 Black Men, even the Nation of Islam. I actually don't see black-on-black crime as being pertinent to the point regarding Zimmerman/Martin. Sure most blacks are killed by other blacks. Big Deal. Most whites are killed by other whites, too. THis is a distraction. A very good point. Many times, community activism is the only way to get attention to a case that is being swept under the rug. It is the activity by Jackson and Sharpton well after the case was spotlighted that reek of race-baiting and their divisive politics. Well, he has been charged. There will be a trial and that needed to happen.
yes, the kid is a thug. he was getting suspended multiple times, he defaced school property, writing WTF on a locker. he was found with a backpack filled with women's jewely and a screwdiver. also i agree with geraldo that criminals wear hoodies. in fact i have a police radio i leave on when i am bored and basically every criminal i hear on there is wearing jeans and a black hoodie. its the criminals uniform. i can predict it when i hear it coming in. "can i get a description?" "baggy jeans, t shirt, dark colored hoodie." thats basically always the description.
before the truth comes out i am gonna predict what happened. and i could be wrong, but i suspect i am right. we can taunt me later if it turned out i am wrong. zim followed the kid because zim is an idiot. the kid wasnt doing anything wrong but may hve been considering stealing something. he is a an idiot kid and likes to steal stuff. he may have stolen stuff from the area in the past because the kid is a thug, like a lot of young black males. zim followed the kid and called him out. the kid stupidly confronted zim and they shouted at each other. the kid started beating the crap out of zimmerman, who took it for a while until he produced a gun, and then martin screamed for help, but zimmerman had already been beaten up and had enough of the kid, so he killed him. martin probably tried to wrestle the gun away, at hich point zimmerman decided he had better shoot the kid or the kid might shoot him. bth people are morons and if either had any sense at all none of this would have happened. zimmerman is probably sorta racist but then again black people do love to commit crime and you should generally assume that the black kid with the hoodie is behind the crime in your area.

I don't know about that. I read somewhere that video (maybe it was pics?) of Zimmerman from the night it happened showed that he had no scratches, cuts, or bruises on his face.
