So remember this, it all starts with the SEC West 2011 1st place 2012 2nd place 2013 3rd place (tied) 2014 4th place (tied) It just keeps going down. Poor quarterback play is not going to help. As far as the defensive coordinator role, I am now convinced I am not going to like this hire. I think its going to be Brick Haley, and the only way I could be sold on that choice (not that my opinion means a fucking thing) is if Orgeron is hired as well.
Then if Chavis was paid fairly, Cameron must be screwing LSU. I still don't understand taking a hard line with the best coach on the staff and then letting him go to a division rival for 1 million dollars. Now LSU will have to deal with him on a yearly basis and offense is not exactly LSU's strong suit.
I hope this 2 year plan doesn't include promoting Brick. I don't think Brick is a poor coach by any means but I really believe this staff needs an infusion of new thoughts and energy.
I'd honestly take a chance on Coach Orgeron. Like someone said he has gotten more mature and is badass recruiter
