more clock mismanagement except this time with the hiring process? wouldnt cp and/or eo be bagged and tagged already if they were a priority? neither even had a job last year.

if we dont get shoop now and end up hiring from within, ill be majorly disappointed.

Actually it would be A LOT like when Saban left...AND when he got here. Plenty talent on the roster. Did you know that? LSU was LOADED (I wanted to say fucking loaded but bob, well) when Saban got here and LOADED when he left?

Disappointed is an understatement if Haley is hired. That is definitely a sign that Alleva is in control and is strictly concerned about money. If Haley the program is definitely in decline, Haley for Chavis (at a division rival) is a terrible swap. The program will return to the mediocrity of the late 90s and hopefully not the losing of the early 90s.

No financial trouble at all. We have one of the highest paid coaching staffs in the country. I think all of our assistants combined amount to the highest paid. We paid him fairly and offered a more than fair contract based on his performance.

So you are telling me that the LSU offense was a joke last year? I guess I am clueless then since we were one of the best in the country. Did I say this year was good?

I think Miles and the administration have a plan in place for the next 2 years. It is a rare thing to have full job security in college football. Chief didn't leave because of job security issues. He felt slighted by clauses in his contract and duration and then A&M came in and gave him what he wanted and more.
