Looks like LSU lost a recent defensive commit as CB AmadI flips to Oregon. Better get a DC in there soon.
Amadi really isn't a shock from what I hear, and honestly if we can afford to lose a commit it's at the corner position. That's really a position us LSU fans shouldn't worry too much about.
I'll take this guy.... CB Kevin Toliver | Move-in: Friday, Jan. 9 Toliver has been committed to the Tigers for about 26 months, and it will all finally become official when he sets foot on campus this weekend. With Jalen Collins' departure to the NFL and Rashard Robinson's status still in limbo, spots in the starting lineup are up for grabs, and Toliver should be in the thick of that discussion. He's a consensus five-star prospect and could very well finish the cycle as the No. 1 player in the Southeast, according to Scout's rankings. He's an instant impact type of player, and he'll serve some role in the secondary next season. These added practices in the spring should only give him a stronger case for a starting job.
Years ago when former LSU player Blake Miller interviewed with Les, he said that Les knew more about him than he did. He said that Les did his homework. It was a very informative interview. Last word I got, Blake was out of coaching. Hope he's doing well.
So far 2015 looks like Rivals has LSU at 17th. Overall coaching prowess, winning football, and championshops are what brings in the recruits. Poor offense and the guy responsible for putting together a defense which carried the team leaving, will hurt more than it helps.
