Wait, didn't someone tell us that when there is an opening at LSU coaches from across the land come running. You know, cause Les is such a great guy to work for and all. Now I know why he never says much.
The only concern I have with promoting Brick is this. He is a protege of Chavis who will probably coach in a similar fashion. Will we be setting ourselves up for more 3rd and Chavis? More of the same, late game give aways? I'm all for promoting and loyalty when your coach is worthy, other than that I like the idea. Hopefully Coach O doesn't mind coming in as the DL coach.
If someone with experience at the position and a proven track record isn't brought in, Miles will be gone in two seasons. Brick and Coach O won't be the answer. This team, with Miles' offense, cannot weather the storm of the drop off in defense which will be had in 2015.
Well this is a disappointing development. If it's going to be Brick, that's fine but just give him the promotion and quit dragging this out.
Me too. "You've got to be fucking kidding me." It was all I could say, or think, seeing that kick...my mouth probably dropped open as much as Miles did. I know I'll be told there's a bias that came into play on that kick. Help me keep up here, is Nike to blame on that one?
