I drink vodka occasionally. When I do, I mix it with Dole fruit juices. Currently have a bottle of Skol. Does the quality really make that much of a difference in taste when mixing it with fruit juice?
I'm no expert and understand what Bengal meant about it not mattering with a BM drink but I noticed it to be a little less tart (not literally) with the absolut. The other one had a bit of an after taste, I found.
I think the "rule" is if you are going to mix it with juice, or red bull you can use the vodka in the plastic bottle. If you are making vodka tonics, or a vodka martini and those type drinks you want the better stuff. I will have gin from time to time and if I do it is Bombay Blue Sapphire but other than that I don't drink much vodka. I buy a lot of it, just don't drink it.
Tito's is really smooth. It's made from corn for whatever that's worth. My go to for the last year or so.
