if you like he man, thundercats, etc check this out... really old, but very funny. Old School Afternoon
1. Hong Kong Phooey - Clear #1 for me 2. Huckleberry Hound - (Hey... maaan) 3. Thundar the Barbarian - By the power of greyskul, and Ukla the Mock 4. Looney Toons (Big list, Foghorn is my favorite, and those two crows) 5. Transformers - The Cartoon. One note on Tom and Jerry, if you really watch that show it is the most overtly racist thing you have ever seen. Not because of the cat or hte mouse but look closely how they portray african americans in that cartoon. Now I know its a very old cartoon so it was a sign of the times but I still get uncomfortable watching that cartoon sometimes...
I don't remember too many humans of any race being in Tom and Jerry. I believe that Tom's owner was a white woman. If you want to see a really racist cartoon then Walt Disney's "Song of the South" should do it for you.
In the late 90's my 2 nephews were aged 4 and 6 and their favorite was "Biker Mice from Mars. I used to enjoy watching it with them. Anybody every heard of it? I haven't seen it on since then.
Well actually there were several scenes with a Maid. Jerry's owner had a maid that appeared from time to time.
opcorn: 1.Thundercats 2.GI Joe (Yo Joe!) 3.Batman the animated series 4.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 5.X-Men Just about all of the 1980's cartoons, and early 1990's to late 1999 Awesome shows back when I was a kid.
1) Futurama- One of my favorite TV shows ever. Probably the clearest continuity on any cartoon 2) Justice League Unlimited- Way better storeis than the Superfriends, better villains, no Wendy and Marvin, no Wonder Twins, cooler heroes, Lex Luthor as President of the USA. 3) Family Guy- Freakin sweet 4) He-Man- Science fiction and fantasy mixed together in an awesome blend. I loved the myriad of "races," the mysterious fall of the prior civilization, and a castle that looks like a skeleton. 5) Transformers- The G1 series. To this day every time I see an 18 wheeler I secretly hope it is Optimus Prime.
