And it must be a quarterback. Who would you take? Get on record then we can look back on this and see how stupid we look. I think I know who I'd take but Im not going to influence the results. Let's hear it.
Guess I'll go with Gabbert even though I only saw him play one game in college. Each of the QBs (including Gabbert) have question marks. I think Gabbert's size and athleticism are ideal for the NFL. He understands the need to scramble to keep plays alive but is not looking to be a running QB. Although he played primarily out of the shotgun at Mizzou, he was coached well in high school and is even more comfortable taking snaps from center. He apparently has an attention to detail and recollection capacity that is borderline genius. If he gets drafted into the right system, I would think he could be a top-5 QB for a decade.
i havent followed anything on the draft this year which is odd but i have heard some people talking this dude up just in seeing bits on espn etc. But I did see this guy play a few times and hes got some weird throwing motion if i recall. he was good then looked pretty bad. kinda awkward i thought. I dont know what to make of him.
