You let the defense know that we will continue to attack win or lose. I'd rather always go down hitting the QB in the mouth and by making him make the right decision time and time again than by sitting back and making the choice obvious. Just like in the SEC Championship game with Georgia: If David Greene can find the open receiver in 2 seconds and make a perfect throw....then so be it. He's a Hall of Famer and they win. I'll place my bets he can't and we'll hit him in the face all night.

Second....any grown man who knows a thing about football can see whether or not a QB has the tools to start in the SEC. You don't make a choice the media thinks you should make.....you go with gut choice and if it's Flynn you go with it. If it's Russell....you go with it. And you stick with him till you can't any longer.

Hey neck don’t they have NASCAR forum you can hang out on? You need to sit this one out. You are 1/5 hyenas on this forum. The hyenas lack football knowledge and only like to bash on olVENICEdog.

Our kicking game has left a bit to be desired but I was told that the NCAA only allows a certain amount of coaches to be on staff. So If we get a SP coach we would have to give up a position coach. That's a hard sell however the kicking game is important. Maybe you can get a consultant or some other code word to come in from time to time and work with the kickers if you have a gray area in the rule. I know that after :911: Saban had a grief couselor come in and spen some time with the players, I just don't know how much. Changing punt formations should be easy enough to do.

On Offense he should have the talent to open it up this year but I would have to believe it was in the cards with Saban already because of the schollies we now have it shows what he was building so it's really continue on here.

Hopefully our "D" matures and we can go back to the sucessful blitz packages we knew and loved in 2003.

I have to say I liked what Saban was doing and the guys he was getting in here so pretty much change a thing here and there but the system does not need an over haul. :crystal:

I would like to say that I would name a starting QB but how could that be done until the season is almost upon us?

Given that Flynn steps it up and performs like he was supposed to coming into LSU....I think he very well win the starting job BUT I still expect Russell to win it out with his past experience from last year.

I would work on the Kickers every damn day until the first game....every day. Our kicking game is D2 level at times and shouldn't be.

D2 would be a stretch even...more like freshman football in highschool. Still can't make extra points!

Matt Flynn is third string behind RP.

Matt Flynn is currently the 2nd string QB behind Russell. Until RP proves his worth, he is 3rd string at best.
