I am not in the minority when I say this, the way some of the starters are playing is no worse than some of our elite freshman could do. Give em a shot. Hell, I can give up 50 yards bombs all day too.
Chavis should have seen the writing on the wall in the Spring and gotten Beckwith a crash course in playing middle LB at the collegiate level. I would have played Beckwith from down #1 against UAB and never looked back.
This play calling thing and Welter is funny. What is so hard about calling a base D? We don't blitz. We don't cover anyone. We don't stop the run. What is difficult about this?

No, I'm saying that Chavis has to have someone in that can make defensive calls. If he had someone better than Welter, he would play him. Kwon is athletic but maybe he can't make his reads fast enough. What do you want him to do? Play all three positions?
I am saying that whoever is calling the plays on D hasn't done a God Damn thing. So, start your future. Beckwith is an Animal. Give him the game time that way we dont have to see this same shit next year.
