Actually the gayturds have 8 with one rescinded so they are at 7. I am assuming, because I didn’t look it up, that T-bow is responsible for half of them. When you look at two in front of us coming from east we are 2nd in the west. The Elephants have just paid for most of theirs so I don’t put too much stock in their numbers!

Nick Saban inherited a team that had back-to-back seasons with losing records, and there were only about 3 seasons where we didn't have a losing record. Orgeron inherited a much better team than Saban did. We have not had a losing record since 1999. Miles has the program on autopilot, which is a good and bad thing. We need someone to take us to the next level, and based on Orgeron's career, I don't see him being that coach.

Part of the problem is that we are obsessed with being and beating Alabama, instead of focusing on making LSU better. Alabama week arrives, and the preparation changes, the coaches talk more, the players talk more, we're hiring motivational speakers, and treating this game like the Superbowl, while Alabama treats this week like any other game. We need to get back to the early 2000's when this was just another game for us.

You must be an Orgeron apologist. He has thrown a tailback under the bus, the kickers, the offensive coordinators, and his o-line.

No, Alabama doesn't treat it like any other game. Most of the time they have their game faces on and bring their A game just like we do. The talent on the field is usually pretty equal. It's the coaching that has been our downfall. But even if our coach was a clone of Nicky the games would still come down to the wire.

Yes, they do. You don't hear Alabama Saying that they have to beat LSU. That they're the "younger brother." That they're not afraid of LSU, or that LSU is afraid of them for stacking the box. Alabama is not bringing in a Navy Seal to speak to the team, during game week, for extra motivation. I grew up an LSU fan, and I would love to see them do well, but I'm not delusional, and LSU has become obsessed with Alabama.

Even when we're not playing Alabama, they're on our mind:

Derrius Guice had strong words about Alabama.

After LSU’s 38-10 victory over Arkansas on Saturday, the Tigers running back was confident in his team’s ability to run the ball. And why not? LSU racked up 390 rushing yards, with 252 of those coming from Guice himself as the Tigers improved to 6-3 and 4-2 in the SEC.

Guice was feeling so good that he turned his attention to Alabama for some reason.

As reported by Ross Dellenger of The Advocate, Guice said, “Alabama always stacks 10 people in the box to stop us. They’re scared as well. … We’re also tired of hearing that we can’t run (after) Alabama and that we can’t run after we play them.”

This is the closest thing to a NC game we’ve had in a while and despite the early season struggle, we still have an outside shot at the playoff. Saban adapted, Miles didn’t. Next man up - let’s hope Orgeron’s second try looks better than his first. It’s past time that we start taking back the space Saban claimed while Miles was twiddling his thumbs. Eaux v World, Chapter Two.

I think the truth is some where in the middle. Do I think the gumps are juggarnut, no I think they will get beat by the dawgs if they end up making it to the SEC championship with out a loss. I also think the warchickens could beat them. Do I think we can be them, yes. We have to have a great game/game plan and execution of the game plan to do so. I think Hurt is nothing that special and they will run into a team that shuts that run down and the scrambling down then they will have issues. I think we can do that my concern really is more on if we can get a short passing game open and our o line can hold back just long enough for Etling to get the ball out. I think for sure we should not be 3 td dogs in this game, I would not be surprised to see this thing come down to a field goal or something similar to last years game.
