I pointed that out on the AU board in December and they started deleting my posts. Auburn is apparently very sensitive about fat-cat interference in football.
The sensitivity issue is what I don't get. If I were Saban and I had sincere loyalty to LSU I would feel uncomfortable in that situation.........on the other side of the coin, he is relentless in his pursuit for success so maybe he will stop short of nothing. Either way, we'll kick his mule when he comes to BR.
I agree. Can't see ESPN not mentioning the denials or Miami's reaction. I wouldn't do this on national TV.
As much as Alabama is paying Saban, I am not surprised that he was at the B-Ball game. I am sure he'll throw out a few opening pitches in baseball....heck, thy may need him to be a bat boy!   :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige :geauxtige
In the 'point-counter point' world of media, this is a great story of contrasts. And because it also stirs emotions, you can bet attention will be given.
Speaking of Saban's daughter, how is his son doing these days? That great developer of youth and lover of kids could have allocated some time first in his own house.
FWIW, this announcement hasn't been confirmed yet. The SID said within the last hour that the Marketing Dept. had been called, but weren't answering their phone at the moment. AND, for what's it's worth, considering the kids coming in to visit this next (as in the 20th) weekend it would come as much of a shock for the announcement to be made that weekend...would seem to me to be a good thing for the recruits to be there when he is introduced.
