1. Yeah, I wonder when they will pull the plug? My guess is when we are officially eliminated from the sec championship game. At least I would hope that would be when. So maybe one more loss.
  2. I don't see how putting a true freshman who is already terribly slight of build behind this offensive line would be productive moving forward. Fitzgerald is a 4th year guy who sat and learned behind Dak for 2 years before finally starting and he's just now becoming quite accomplished. This is a fierce league, and I don't want to ruin Myles or Narcisse.
  3. We were not physical enough to avoid losing more than 4 this year. When they starting getting handled they quit. There was hints of that with the O line in the first two games but we knew we were thin there. The rest of the schedule would be tough for our better lines we've had, these cotton balls will get killed if they don't fix it. Think about the lines and fronts we are about to face and some on their home field thanks to Joe.

  4. Play calling being good is relative to running it up the middle all night with 8 in the box.

  5. We need a running QB for the rest of this year. Brennan might get bent in half and never play again with this Oline.

  8. No, we didn't have to necessarily throw the ball so much more. Some of you should watch Big 12 football instead, sounds like you want to air it out on every play.

I like the concept of taking what the D gives you. I also think we are a bit limited on play calls because of Etling's limited arm strength. I did expect a lil more pop, but we've also had numerous drive killing penalties. At the end of the day our OL is mediocre, we need much better play or nothing will work.

  9. Agreed. I, and some of the other members here talked about it after the first game. Misdirections and pre-snap shifts that end up as a run up the middle are just window dressing on what we already had. What we need is creative ways to get the ball to players in the open so that we can move the chains and keep the defense guessing. We need some semblance of balance between running and passing (attempts not yards). We didn't do that against BYU and we didn't do that against Chat.

  10. Yeah that's what I saw. When ball hits receiver in face in his break...
