It is cetainly better than the Chimes po-boy, but I still think the best po-boys in town are at Dempsey's.

Daisey Dukes makes a pretty good Po'Boy as well. Great breakfast. And it's 24 hours. On Chartres right across from the side entrance to the Marriott.

It's a good po-boy . . . just not a great one. I rate the Chimes highly on some other dishes, like the shrimp and corn soup.

I say skip the skrimp po-boy and get a roast beef debris from mothers. Skrimp po-boys are as overated as Bosie.

They don't grill the bread in butter. If that doesn't happen, I don't think the sandwhich even deserves to be called a po boy. I also don't like their bread in and of itself. It just doesn't hold up well. I don't like the breading on their shrimp. It comes off way too easily.

I like the food (and beer) at the Chimes. I just don't think they do a very good job with po boys.
