The ONLY way WVU gets more than 50 rushing, is a busted play by LSU and big play for WVU. Even when you look back at the Moo game, I think 30 of those 52 were on 3 big rushes for 10+ yards. I do remember someone giving State 250 on the ground. That is madness, I think that even our own fans still can’t believe how good this defense actually is.
This is a new thread ... ALL BY ITSELF Got your title highlighted ... give this guy some rep points ... Homey here don't play dat rep game
A couple weeks ago I was looking at box scores in the SEC, many teams are using "Our" or should I said the playbook from "Les." I see fake punts for Td's, INTs. for Td's, fumble return for a TD., the Time of Possession, too many things in the Les playbook. Everyone wants to win, even if it is ugly.. :tigereye:
You can see the Refs doing the same thing, only Tenn. gets caught..... :thumb: The thing about LSU is the recover time, how fast they get to the ball. Too much speed.
When your strong safety on a non-blitz play, is coming up and making tackles behind the line of scrimmage(B Taylor), its downright silly! My favorite moment is when the camera man turns and zooms in on the confused faces on the sidelines and the QB! I truly hope Chief is in it for the long run with CLM, these 2 can win multiple :crystal::crystal: together!
Maybe they meant for the decade??? All I'm saying is this: UO and MooU are no pushovers on the defensive front. Yet LSU still lined up, told the defense that they were about to run it at them, and still punished them. If WV thinks that they can win this game in the trenches, then by all means, have at it. This is the same D-line that gave up 5.5ypc against a Crowton-coached Maryland, who, by the way, has neither Spencer Ware nor Michael Ford.
250 yds in a decade would be more realistic. Taking it to the trenches would truly play to our strength. They do not have the size to handle our O-Line. I see a lot of pancakes being made on Sat night! I also don't believe they have the secondary to match our receivers. They may be fast, but I believe the lack the "physicality" (had to go ESPN analyst on you there) to keep up with Randle and Peterson. Nor have they seen the level of athleticism that LSU brings. I'm not going to say blow out, but I certainly do not think it will be as close as a lot of folks are predicting.
