A few years ago when the 49ers clobbered the Broncos 55-10 in the Super Bowl the next day some Wheaties boxes appeared on the shelves of Denver supermarkets. Wheaties did a quick recall of them but those that still survive unopened are worth a lot more than a box of cereal. Believe it or not there are actually people who collect Wheaties boxes.
Back during my freshman year we watched a video in geography class about one of the central American countries and in one of the shanty towns there was a kid that had a "Buffalo Bills Super Bowl Champions" tshirt.
They are #1 in 3 of 9 polls, 2 of which happen to be the "human" ones. One doesn't carry any more weight than the other. They finished 3rd cumulatively in a system which they contractually agreed to abide by. Why can't people see this?
