I’m with you about preferring the old way, but players rights won’t allow things to go back. Best we can hope is standardization occurs so it isn’t the Wild West.
readers should note that the gentleman who posted this has stated he would prefer LSU hired kermit davis, who is currently playing his last few minutes of the season whilst being eliminated from the SEC tournament by missouri. davis has a lower winning percentage, worse players, and has in the past been caught cheating and resigned in disgrace from A@M for recruiting violations that punished both him and his school.
yep, it was great it's hard to see it standardizing, there'll be 50 different state laws governing it,.. and what state is going to put a cap on it,.. would Louisiana put hobbles on LSU, hamstringing the tigers, while alabama was buying players left and right,.. nope i think there will be an arms race, then it will all fall apart,.. 2025 will be a very bad year
The major conferences might break away and standardize how NIL is done. I think there are smart people who don’t want to kill the golden goose. There are billions at stake; that’s a great motivator.
Integrity isn't Bama's thing and the Gumps won't suddenly acquire it now. Bet you find that statement laughable. We care no more about Arkansas' opinion than y'all care about ours.
the individual schools can't break state laws,.. i hope you're right tho, maybe there's a way i'm going to watch the NFL a lot more,.. it's more about football god bless mlb
i think ultimately its not about violations, its about winning. thats why bruce pearl is at auburn and not south dakota community college. woodward knows this. he will weather the storm because if wade is fired he will show up at mizzou or south carolina in a year and tear our ass up in the SEC
exactly, and when they win the PMAC is full of fun and spirit. i didnt miss a home game all season and it was very fun and spirited thanks to wade. woodward doesnt need wade enspiritifying and funninating another schol
