Intereting that last year we ripped Miami, I don't remember which team was the fovorite. However, it wasn't the media that gave us no respect. They gave us tons of accolades. It was the LSU fans who tried to down play the significace of the ass beating we put on "The U".
You're right. Just remember last week is was "UCLA has no chance vs USC". There were many stories about the number of successive seasons USC has played in the National Championship games. At least that streak has been broken.
Nope. Last year Texas played OSU in the Shoe in Columbus. This past September, they played in Austin.
Looks like this is one of those games that is a no-win situation. Everyone expects a big LSU win and anything less will be a viewed as a negative. Give teams a month to prepare and anything can happen. LSU better be ready to play.
maybe ND will be all fired up from everybody talking down on them and they will make it respectable for 2 quarters instead of 1.
I guess the only measure we have to tell us how they might play after a layoff is the Peach bowl last year. I'm going to guess that the Tigers were a little dissapointed they dropped all the way to the Peach but they still game planned with a backup QB and did pretty well. Arkansas gets the Cap one after losing the SECCG. Just thought I would throw that in.
