1. Aside from the lobbying angle, I am sure ESPN figures they can get more mileage out of rematch hype than otherwise. People around the country say we should just be crowned because we have beaten everyone. If we meet anyone other than Bama, ESPN must figure that everyone else will just yawn. It's a calculation. My calculation is that a lot of people around the country do not care for a rematch. I am currently away from NOLA on work, so that is just my sense of things.
  2. this is why the have no place influencing the effing poles. Gets my blood boiling just thinking about it. Conflict of interest much? Printing the news or manufacturing it ESPN???
  3. I thought about this earlier today when GameDay went to Atlanta instead of Bedlam. Now, I'm watching the talking heads on ABC at halftime of the OSU blowout of OU stating it as fact that Bama is going to be in the big game.

It is insane that they are pushing the Bama agenda so hard. It's like Nicky has naked pictures on all of them.

If it's Bama, so be it, but stop with the brainwashing techniques.

    :geaux:
  4. And CBS let Saban talk as well before the LSU/Georgia game.

He looked 3 foot tall among the others at the desk. It was funny.

Danielson of course talked up Bama to no end and even came up with some jabs at Okie State, like how they are 107th defensively and how that team cannot play in the BCS CG. It was as much inflammatory to Okie State as it was supporting Bama. Danielson was in rare form. He even showed a graphic how the ESPN BCS Guru stated that the difference between Bama and the next best team made it appear as though there were only 2 teams to consider. Brad Edwards knows better than that, knows the computer polls, and knows that only 1/4 of the voters need to put Okie State 2nd on their ballot to overcome Bama. He has obviously been paid off as well to make that stupid statement.
  5. That **** just pisses me off^. Let the voters vote. People act like it isn't even close or not in doubt, but it is as it should be. OSU is playing for their conference championship tonight. Saban is out jerking everybody off. Enough.
