Forgive me, but I fail to see the validity in your argumnt. Parity has never been as prominent in college football as it is today. Also, Spurrier hasn't ascended to the heights of Bear Bryant yet cause his run at Florida was no where near as long as Bear's run at Bama. Apples and Oranges here. The man can coach. For those of you saying that you wouldn't want Spurrier here cause he wouldn't represent our school well, please explain. He did nothing but good for Florida. It's not like the man is Saddam Hussein.
