I would be embarrassed to have a coach that boo-hooed as much as Urban Cryer (see what I did with his last name?!!?). Same for Tubs.

I dig Les, he just needs a new hat.

At first I was like most here, I didnt like Meyer complaining about the BCS. It appeared that in all probability Florida was going to be passed over. In retrospect, I dont blame Meyer at all now. Initially I thought it was classless how he went about it. Maybe it was, truth is his complaints may have helped sway just enough votes. All the media was pulling and vying for OSU/Michigan rematch. So what was he supposed to do? Sit back and let the BCS screw Florida out of a shot at the national title? Michigan is a great team but they have their shot and lost. For a second, quit looking from the outside. Remember just a few years ago when we were wonder if LSU would be overlooked? If we were in Floridas position, with it appearing we would be passed up for a team that has already lost to OSU, plus isnt a conference champ! There would be a ton of expletives flying on this board. Now looking back, I applaud him for taking an active stance and not sitting back. It might not be great sportsmanship or the classy thing to do, but with the pathetic sytem thats in place. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

On to the topic, Id take Miles without a doubt.

LOL ... what a thread ... what max said

Regurgitate this thread ... About five years down the line ... after Meyer has taken the Gators to the NC game more than once ... State of Fla = # 1 per capita of quality recruited Div 1 HS talent ... Meyer & Gators will just get better and better over the years ... ANY EDGE LSU HAS HAD OVER FLA THIS DECADE HAS VANISHED LIKE A FART IN THE WIND. FLA IS NOW THE PREMIER SEC TEAM ... LIKE IT OR NOT

Les Miles will still be lettin' er' RIP over here ... with 2 and three loss seasons and "big game "chokes" ... A GOLFING ANALOGY ... Miles coaching talent is like a golf pro with the "YIPS" ... He does great from tee to green ... Then it comes down to CRUNCH ...

He does the peepee dance and then ... "YIP" ... he misses another one from 3 feet.

Another Golfing analogy ... we took a "Bogey" when we sign Miles. There were no "Birdies" and only one or two pars around.

Go on, you gutless kool-aid drinkers ... delete this post. Proves I'm right and you can't stand it. :hihi:

urban. dude has put them in the NC game.

swap coaches and what would the results be?

les has kept a top program on top

urban has brought a top 25 program on top.

do you really think urban will turn out to be dinardo and fade in a couple years?
