Well, there are a few different looks at this. I dont think Brady is going anywhere in the near future so I dont think its really an option. LSU has a basketball program coming off probation, why go after a coach that has a history of disorder and bad things in his program? Thats a great idea, lets get the bball program right back where it was 8 years ago. No doubt he's a good coach. But, he's played in a much softer conference historically. It's sort of Urban Meyer looks like such a genious b/c he coached in the Mountain West. But, you cant argue with facts. That fact is he has been to like 16 straight Turney's. That is pretty impressive. I'm sure he'll land somewhere. If O'Leary, Price, and others like them can get other jobs, so can Huggy Bear. I doubt he'll get another high profile gig though.

exactly. he doesn't even make it past the 2nd round either so its insane to put a program at risk with this bitter cheater.

    that wasn't the question.

    stop being a genius.

will do. For actual coaching purposes, I think the Huggy Bear is prolly better than JB. But, he just does his business in such an unethical manner that the program would, as has been said before, be under the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

His program has always been known as two things:

    1) Thugs

    2) Chokers come post-season...10 times out of 14 they lost in the 1st round

On a level (recruiting) playing field, Huggins could not get the players. He has to cheat and LSU, hopefully, would not stand for that. Get rid of Brady if you must, but don't go into the sewer for a replacement. Anyone who would want Hugins here has severely misplaced priorities IMHO.

When LSU was placed on probation, Cincy actually had more serious infractions than did LSU. The NCAA with its history of even handed justice destroyed LSU's program and gave Cincy a slap on the wrist. ESPN detailed some of the antics of Huggins players this morning. I appears he had a team with at least one Cecil Collins each year.
We can surely do better than Huggins.

    I pick door #3: neither.

Brady over Huggins in a New York second. Huggins runs a thug factory and has a horrible record against Xavier. You can not come to LSU with a history of not hammering your biggest rival.

Congrats gumborue for providing scrappy with the main topic for his radio show today.

Also honorable mention to those people in this thread (myself included) who's opinions on the matter have been adopted and echoed word for word by that kid for the past half hour.
