1. We have several female posters. There's one, @Bengal B, that you're going to love. She is a sweetie.

  3. Tap don't play. He wins more arguments here than people want to admit.
  4. Alabama 27 LSU 10

I'm a huge LSU fan but from a realistic standpoint I can't see us going blow for blow with Bama in the fourth quarter. Bama will just plug in a fresh Running back. They have 5 of them that could start on all 14 teams in this conference. Our limited depth on the defensive line will be heavily targeted and Jalen Hurtz has the ability to add injury to insult with his legs and his ability to throw off the bootleg passes. We will need to run the football to keep their offense off the field. Not to forget they are leading the country in scoring defense so let's not turn the ball over either.

  7. Well that's the word that had me scratching my head. lol, OK. But on the rest, I certainly haven't referred to any coaching this season as "great." But if you're going to discount a great (or should I say "naive") individual play from a coach's resume, let's rethink the coaching job Miles did in 2011, when Tyrann Matthieu contributed great play after great play.

  8. My mind went to the same thing when I first read that comment. How much benefit did Miles, or any other successful coach (just put the name in the blank) benefit from a plays like that, or players like Mathieu or Chark. Is PSUs coach loafing by b/c of his RB Sasquatch? Stupid point, really.
  9. Naive is Evian spelled backwards.

  10. Not just his scoring, but the way he was used in pass defense, sometimes in coverage, sometimes blitzing. He always seemed to be in the right place to make an impact play. Putting players in a position to succeed - like having Chark at punt returner - is part of good coaching.
