You can be dam sure Saban will force us to try and beat them with our passing game cause it's pretty non existent.
And again you miss the point that THIS is the FIRST time ALL year we only have 1 freshman on the line. Bama has not been able to pressure ANYONE without the blitz
Have you watched any LSU-Bama games in the last few years, or any Bama game this year? What I’m talking about is an actual game plan that stands a chance against their NFL caliber defense. We are not gonna run the ball down their throat or throw a half-ass decent deep pass and expect our receivers to beat their DB’s like we did against BYU or Chattanooga. Different level of competition. Canada better have something up his sleeve to make up for our young OL or this will be a beat down. I’m a realist...not a smoke blower that tries to convince myself that we have a chance against them if we don’t do anything different. But hey whatever works for you.
I actually have watched THIS year's bama and they are NOT last year's team. They are beating creampuffs like they should, but if you didn't see last year LSU had them on the ropes. The refs helped them deliver the KO. Yes I watch every LSU bama game. This LSU defense is every bit as loaded if you don't think it is, you are the one that needs to watch tape.
For the record I hope you’re right...but come Back to this conversation after the game and we’ll pick up where we leave off tonight. Our defense is good but not last year good. We’re too young but the future looks bright on D. Bama’s defense is as good as advertised don’t try to fool yourself. Honestly their biggest detriment is Jalen Hurts if we force them to have to throw the ball. To do that our DL will have to play the game of their lives. Unfortunately for us, their 2nd string quarterback is better than their first string when it comes to passing game. Shitty thing is this is what we have to look Forward to until Saban dies or retires. I just want to see a better offensive philosophy than the last 4 years. Yes we’ve come close multiple times because our D kept us in it. With a better offensive gameplan we could’ve won a couple of those.
Alabama has played so far Florida State who is 2-4 Fresno STate Colorodo State Vandy Ole Miss Texas A&M only 8 point win by the way Arkansas Tennessee who is heartless now. Not exactly anyone there right???
