First: Thanks for a great laugh this morning.

Second: So, USC will feel "dirty" for playing in the BCS Champ game because they lost to Oregon State? UF would feel "dirty" if they get to play in that game because they lost to you AU nitwits?

    Very pathetic post.

    I don't think I'd feel dirty.

As an LSU fan, I feel jacked up about us going to the Rose Bowl. The Biggest of all Bowls.

As a college football fan I see how fouled up the BCS system is. It doesn't matter that you lost, it matters when you lost. And then, sometimes it doesn't really matter when you lose, for example; OU in 2003 after getting blown up by Kansas St. and still making the Sugar Bowl and even this year with Michigan getting beaten by Ohio St. and remaining #2 despite the loss.

I firmly believe Florida needs to be #2 simply because of their strength of schedule. Yes, I'm making myself sick saying that the Gaytors need a chance at the Championship, but I feel the same way as Urban Meyer. This is what he said, "Here's our style: You got at Tennessee, you've got Kentucky, you've got Alabama, LSU, Georgia and Auburn and at Tallahassee," . I won't even get into the whole USC schedule issue and the fact that they lost to an unranked Oregon St. team who probably couldn't otherwise beat a crippled midget with a wet noodle.

Here's my point, out of those he mentioned, 3 were ranked in the top 10 at one point this season. That's insane. Just like LSU going 2 - 2 against Top 8 teams on the road this year. NUTS.

Anyway, rant over. I'm excited that we finished strong, playing good ball and I'm thrilled beyond belief that we're headed to Pasadena (My dad and grandfather are partying up in heaven with Cholly Mac right now I'm sure!).

I just wish it would be a little more clear and fair.

Dude, Auburn sucks and you know it. The only way Auburn can beat LSU is when yall play us in Auburn because the ref's are always in yall favor, and you know it you lil bit(h. Get out of here and be happy with your little piece of $hit bowl that the fake tigers go to.

If you don't like the fact that we're probably headed to a BCS bowl, then call your little ref buddies and have them throw a flag on us. :hihi: Ooops...too late! It sucks for you that the refs couldn't help you with your two losses because they were blowouts.

Here's are some facts AUin06...1) the SEC is the best football conference; 2) the SEC will send 8-9 teams to bowls this year; 3) LSU will receive more attention than Auburn because we have a better team and program! :geauxtige

I don't believe LSU or it's fans should "feel dirty" at all for doing everything they can to get into a BCS Bowl berth. Nor do I feel there is any reason for Auburn fans to withold their support for LSU for doing so (or any other conference program) . After all, each of the conference schools get a share of the payouts.

IMHO, if Auburn wanted to get to a BCS Bowl, they had several opportunities to do so. I also feel the same way about the so-called "questionable-call" in the LSU-AU game. If LSU wanted to win that game, they had multiple opportunities that they didn't take advantage of.

It's part of the game .... time to get over it ..... show respect where it is deserved.

    Let's remember what's really important .... :yelwink2:

The only reason I would feel dirty is if I took my daily Auburn and forgot to wipe.

look at my avatar slapa$$. AU is the biggest joke of a program. Hell, your AD tried to get another coach behind Tubb's back. Talk about "dirty". Stop crying about the NC snub 2 yrs ago, try to put a good team on the field, and stop using the aid of the refs to help you guys win a game.
