It seems simple to me. The minimum standard is the minimum standard. Great for the one in a million shemale who wants to be in combat. We can't reduce standards to allow women in combat roles. What is the point of an elite commando unit if they only have to run a 7 minute mile?
They were discussing this on WWL awhile ago, and a caller made an interesting (not really the adjective that applies) point. He said he did a tour in Iraq and at one point, he went 87 consecutive days without a shower. Wouldn't being in that type of situation, for healthy women who are the peak of fertility, be unhealthy? Female infections and such.
This is a terrible idea, puts our men in more danger, women in obvious danger........pussification of America at its finest.
I would dismiss the opinion of anyone that claims 87 days without washing that ass. I have stood butt naked in the snow and washed my ass with a canteen. Not many folks get a week without having some form of authoritie bouncing them down the hill with a bar of soap. I can't speak for any Marines though...
concur now the question is will foxhole felicia be willing to bare it all to wash her nasty ass in front of the boys? If so I see a spike in portable stripper pole sales. Mount it right on top the bradley, maybe on the ramp so we can stuff MRE accessories into her military issue skivies
What gets me is that they say we are all equal, yet, the women have WAY different standards with regards to Physical fitness. Not all branches are like this. I am fine with women doing anything, just make the standards the same. No reason why I should have to run 2 miles faster than a woman of the same age.
