Re: LSU Tigers Rose Bowl bound, TV station reports Pat Forde projected the matchup about an hour ago on Sports Center. Rose Bowl officials can't make an official announcement until the pairings show Sunday afternoon. Based on everything I've seen and read it appears to be a done deal.

Notre Dame belongs in the houston bowl or shreveport so I wouldn't call it a slide for them either. With ZERO wins against ranked teams they shouldn't even be in the BCS.
