Those curling girls make excellent wives. Their floors are spic and span*.

true enough, your use of the word "and" makes you right and me wrong. although i would again point out that new york almost surely has lower crime rates than vancouver.

    Curling gets pretty intense.

Watched some pairs figure skating last night. It was good stuff with Zhen and Shao taking the gold home after coming out of retirement.

I like watching hockey too. Canada and Russia are loaded, USA not so much this year but we'll see how it goes.

is that when there are 4 dudes on snowboards going around the track? whatever event that is is bad ass.

whichever one i saw one american fell and the other laid back til the end. he would absolutely make up ground in the turns whenever and however he wished. which would explain how he is the gold winner again.

the chick with downs syndrome finished 5th in whatever shes in or so they said. i dont like subjective events much.

also, singapore is cleaner and safer than vancouver.

Huge Winter Olympics guy. Love everything about it. Not a huge fan of the "Skateboard sports" more of a traditionalist. I like Luge, Hockey, Cross Country Skiing, Bobsled, etc

    Except Figure Skating....

I really hate Figure Skating. Sorry its not a sport, yes they are athletes I get that, but figure skating is not a sport. Its Dinner Theater, no different then going to a dance recital.

Any "Contest" where the contestant dresses like a clown or a pirate and gets points for it. Isnt a sport.

Just watching it pisses me off... Aside from that

I love Winter Olympics. I told my wife before I die I want a full Luge run..... Somewhere someone will let me do it.

im with you on the xgames events. at least if they arent racing. they pretty much suck.

i saw the end of that nordic combined or whatever when then american got hosed by that lowlife frenchy at the wire. after trekking 100 miles.
yet they got rid of baseball and softball yet have that. golf is supposed to be added i believe. tug o war used to be an event. that would be pretty awesome.

    fixed

dude i dont think thats like jumping in a stock car and banking in turn 3 at talladega.

im pretty sure you die if you jump on a washboard going 90 mph down the ice.

with no training. maybe you should just bobsled with herschel.

there's hardly anything in winter or summer olympics thats a sport. and for those that are sports, the olympics is an afterthought---basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis. except for the women. at least they are honest about it and call it the "olympic games"
