Ok, so i haven't seen a thread on it and i know why, who cares about the winter olympics, especially here where it snows 4 times a decade, but i am listening to ESPN radio, and the Duke just said that the Men's downhill today was postponed because it's snowing. Huh? Isn't that the point?

I watch it. I lived up there for 3 years and have family there so it has some interest. I dont normally watch much of the winter Olympics but I have liked the skiing events like Moguls, snow boarding and long jump so far. The nordic race was interesting the other day. I heard the ratings have been huge.

Vancouver is a great city thats stunningly beautiful and just a cool place. I recommend a visit if you ever have the chance. You will never see a cleaner and safer big city in your life.

short track speed skating and snowboardcross are both pretty awesome and fun to watch.

Vancouver is clean i am sure, but new york is safer than almost everywhere, vancouver included.

Contrary to the stereotype and crime rate, New York has always felt very safe. I've never thought I was in danger walking around downtown Manhattan or riding the subway at all hours. Vancouver is comparable in that regard (except with a MUCH lower crime rate) but Vancouver is far cleaner hence why I said you will never see a cleaner and safer big city in your life.

Curling would be a sport if they were also avoiding gunfire. Or at least a well thrown cabbage.
