    This is beginning to sound like the corporate sinking ship syndrome with the good ones leaving but the crappy people no where to go but stay

    Good assistants always leave for jobs higher up the ladder, so there's nothing different about that. You just have to replace them with another good assistant. LSU pays at the top of the scale, it shouldn't be impossible.
