The kid hasn't gotten into any trouble at UM & his grades are good. If you looked at WW past, all (except the recruiting arrest) of his problems started when he lost his father at 13. I think a lot of kids go through a bad patch & get into some legal troubles when a parent dies or a divorce happens. The kid just wants an opportunity to play like almost all transfers. Amp Hill comes to mind. I wouldn't have a problem with WW continuing his education at LSU. He's already made the most of his 2nd chance by being a good student & citizen of Miami.
Smokin' some interesting chit there! One or two run in's with the law is a bad patch. Eleven arrests is a habitual criminal!
Are you taking into account his environment, or are you just assuming that 11 arrests puts him in the Thug category? How can you assume such a thing when you don't even know the guy?
It was a lame attempt at qualification. The first sentence is your gut feel on the subject. Arrests be damned?
You dont want this guy, he has no work ethic. The main reason he is trying to leave Miami is because his teammates do not want him at all... he has yet to show up for a single summer workout with the rest of the team.
It doesn't matter if he has cleaned up as of late. That would make LSU look like a thug school if they bring in a guy that has 11 arrest on his records. We dont need that reputation, and Miles is big into having good character players so this wont happen.
