    I believe it is our WLB that is left out in the nickel package - not the MLB.

    Highsmith was our WLB, and he was the main linebacker used in pass coverage defense. I think Sanders wasn't in on obvious pass plays. I don't know if it's a particular position in the linebacking crew that sits out, but the type of player who is better at pass coverage who stays in, more or less.

    Maybe someone can claify this for us.
