Witht he offensive line we have this year I guess it does not really matter. I would like to see the bubble screen come back with Murphy running it.

"Breakaway speed" faster perhaps, but not "hitting the hole" quicker.

    thank you, Red.

Saying what I wanted to say, but saying it better.

There are not many times in a game when someone runs 40 yards in a straight line without pads on.

I am sticking to my prediction that the carries will be more balanced this year between the 3. Scott will be the one guy who could break away from the pack but not like Hester did last year.

I, too think they will be more balanced.

But Scott will be on the field the most of all three.

Yup. A skill that goes unnoticed by fans frequently is the ability of a RB to pick up blocks. One who can block a pass rush is more important than one who can catch a pass in the flat, though one who can do both makes him a triple threat: see #18.

I think Scott is gonna have a monster year. He will be too good not to give him touches. He is the best all around back of the bunch, he has it all, speed, power, hands and smarts.

From what I'm hearing, Scott will basically replace Hester's role from last year. They all play like always, but he gets the bulk of the carries.

He's definitely fast enough, but he doesn't really run inside. Most of his big plays come from the outside towards the sidelines. I don't know if it's because he isn't experienced enough or that he just prefers going for the big play outside. We need a starting RB that will pound it inside and I see that being Scott.
One difference between Scott and Hester is that Scott gets tackled a lot easier. I could see Murphy emerging because of his shiftiness when running inside. It's tough to tackle someone who's so agile and quick.

So, basically I could see Williams having the same role as last year, just more carries with Hester gone. Scott will probably take the slight majority in carries. Murphy will step up too, he's succeeded in every role he's been put in. And great thing is that all three are a threat to catch the ball on a screen or whatever.
