What makes it sad though was that had to be one of the longest sustained runs of success of any program. Let alone LSU. Man, what a great run we had.
And it wont matter because we walked away from that with basically nothing but "NFL draft picks" and 0-21.
I don’t get this golden age coming to an end thing. I do think it will be a rough year this year. I think next year we will be better and the following (assuming we can keep a good amount of players around) we will be scary. There is very little maturity in this team. They over look teams, they dont know how to deal with adversity well, on top of all of that we have a ton of guys out injured. I do not think the golden age is gone we will be back, this year will be a rough one though.
