I hate to even think it much less say it, but I think the first time Jarrett Lee runs on the field to enter the game, you'll hear a ton of loud "booing" coming from the mouths of drunk LSU "fans".

...and I'll personally feel embarrassed and ashamed for it. My head will probably be lowered looking down too!!

When I was at LSU in the 70's Mike Leonard- a cornerback (later a classmate of mine in Dental School) was burned for a TD in one of the games and I saw him get hit in the helmet with an empty Jack Daniels bottle some A-hole in the end zone threw at him. I was ashamed. Later on, when we were classmates, he told me that at that moment he wanted to quit and say "screw it!".

I have to admit that I didn't care about LSU football as much as I did before I witnessed that. It took some time for me to come back into the fold full force again.

I hope nothing like that happens to Lee.

Honestly who really gives 2 ****s about Jarrett Lee outside of Lee's family?

They ONLY thing that matters with the LSU fan base is the WIN! Thats it...if individual players matter that much you would see the fan base pushing for players in the Hiesman race like they do at other schools that have no chance to win National Championships year after year...but its not about the individual player here...ITS ALL ABOUT THE TEAM!!!

And I will call anyone on this thread a liar to their face if they can say that they will not cringe or hold their breath waiting for that mistake to happen when and if Lee takes the field.

Weither it be the coaches fault or Lee's fault, his ACTIONS were a direct result in LOSES last season!

So feel sorry for the kid all you want but dont try to make it seem ok or NOT A BIG DEAL the mistakes he made last year, because that is complete and utter BULLSH!T!

It does not matter WHO IS BACK THERE at QB AS LONG AS THE TEAM WINS!

Last season he was back there and he was not able to get the job done ON MORE THEN ONE OCCASION.

SO sorry Lee but when a college team depends on wins in this season to attract recruits there is WAY to much at stake to just give someone a forth or fifth chance to become better!

Name a situation where an int just isn't avoidable.

when the QB is hit from behind and the ball goes flying into the air and fat ass defensive lineman is able to scoop it up before it hits the ground.

    Avoidable.

    Better blocking.
Not holding on to the ball too long.

I never said the QB can avoid all ints...in fact, I even gave an example where the QB can't help it...but the receiver can.

    They are all avoidable.

you said it for me, i just didnt understand it:

dude you need to lay off the sauce. he was a true freshman thrown into the sec fire. if you dont see him and his family as more than a number on the football field, i dont know what to tell you.

if this helps you justify booing a teenager trying his best to represent the purple and gold university he committed; god help you.

I'd take 1 Jarrett Lee over a hundred Ryan Perrillouxs.

They didn't have much choice. Lee wasn't ready yet but he had to be in there. Defense was our biggest problem last year.

That's real easy to do from the ole La-Z-Boy.

    I do for one. He's a Tiger.

I will not cringe or hold my breath waiting for mistakes to happen, tough guy.

He was a freshman, doofus! Blame last season on Perrilloux if you have to find blame.
