8 picks for touchdowns are avoidable its called looking off the safety and linebackers, use common sense before you make statements like this.

Im sure he has improved, but statements like this make me smfh.

What killed LSU was that the INT went for touchdowns, the Florida game was over by the time he threw even one pick.

If you listen to Richt at Georgia talk about Stafford, I remember what he said about him... he said all good QBs have to go through a process of throwing picks... either it will be in college or it will be in NFL but eventually they will have to go through the process.

Stafford had 7 TDs and 13 INTs his freshman year.

Russell is going through the process in the NFL, he never went through it at college.

Eventually Jefferson will have to go through the process, once SEC play start those rollouts pass plays won't exist just like the Scott up the middle play won't be there. All those plays look great against non-SEC schools, they surely don't work the same against SEC opponents. Eventually, either Jefferson or Lee will have to prove they can pass from the pocket with heat on them.

Well, there weren't 8...but I agree. EVERY interception is avoidable. There are some that the QB can't avoid...such as those that hit the receiver in the hands, and he bobbles it into the arms of the defender. But there was one of those that I recall from last year. And even then...that's avoidable...by the receiver.

Anyone who boos a player for "their" team sucks. Yes, at home, in front of the t.v. is one thing, but in our stadium, no way. That's just awful and disrespectful to the player, team, coaches and families. :geaux:

I have no problem with Lee, I believe he will b valuable to this team this year in whatever role he plays. He will see the field and I think he will be improved.
But dont sit here and try to rewrite history, with nonsense like all of the interceptions were unavoidable.(I know you didnt make that statement) Also dont try to narrow his season down to one game like your opening sentence.
I dont have to listen to Richt or anyone else about the maturation of a QB.

He's a TIGER. I will not boo a Tiger. He's one of us, and doing the best he can. These are 18, 19, 20 year olds.

I think it makes the fans look bad when they boo thier own team. And I don't think it helps the player being booed, or the kids we're recruiting. No one's more passionate than me, but boo the ref's, the other team, but not our own team.

What I am more worried about is Lee's state of mind more then fan reaction!

It is given that Tiger Stadium is gonna boo him the VERY 1st PICK he throws....thats just the nature of the beast!

But what happens to this kids head....I for one believe that his confidence is shoot to hell after last season...if he was to come into a game and throw a pick in that game....I dont think the kid would ever be able to pick up a football again.

Personally I think IF he does step on to the field that it should be only in mop up time against the Non C games and against Miss State and that will be to just hand the ball off MAYBE throw a pass or two.

Lee is the past and I feel sorry for the kid but its time to move forward!

AND I also believe that is talk about Lee is nothing more then Miles Speak....it will have no bearing on the season or game play just one of those things he likes to throw out there to keep people thinking that he has only a few marbles rolling around out there!!!!

    YOU MISSED
    THE POINT

I'm expecting Tiger Stadium to boo Lee over his first pick THIS YEAR. I said nothing about last year. Nor did I say that ALL picks are unavoidable. Don't get angry with me over the words you yourself put in my mouth.
