Rex suggested a "fee" dedicated to paying down the debt, not a tax to continue spending like drunken sailors. There is a distinction.

You've got to be kidding!

Not a tax . . . riiiiiight. What if Obama suggested a "fee" to pay down the debt?

I didn't say I agree with it. I was just clarifying since your response did not address wht he said.

These are right-wing conservative issues, especially social conservatives.

    Nonsense.

The Tea Party one year on: Federalism and nationalism

O’Donnell On Creationism: ‘Too Many People Are Blindly Accepting Evolution As Fact’

Tea Party questionnaire reveals obsession with homosexuality

Tea Party candidates Paladino and O'Donnell win with anti-environment platforms

If this were true, Obama would not be president. Independent moderates tend to not be partisan, they shift their votes from party to party based upon who they perceive to be closer to the middle. The democrats are moving to the center, the republicans are moving away from it.

I think you may be surprised.

Well, they have already been a factor in denying two traditional republicans a candidate for the November elections where they might have overturned a democratic candidate. The Tea Party candidates are not expected to do so.

I didn't make it up but it was another ignoramus (gumborue) that posted it.
