This Hurricane won't be the reason the game is not played.

The game isn't going to be played. You know why? Because the construction team on the Upper Deck forgot to cement the stadium so it's going to fall down and so they are going to have to start all over.

The Baton Rouge news channel said that the game may be cancelled because they might not have enough people to attend the game. They said the stadium was fine.

If thats the case, the Saints would never play.

I'm not there but a reason that makes sense to me is that you may not have the hotel/motel space available. You wouldn't want to displace disaster victims with football fans.

My guess is we would have the largest tailgating event on record and a sold out game on Saturday. Not enough people to attend?? Please!!

Not having hotel rooms for the visiting team would be a concern. People whose homes were washed away need a place to stay more than a football team does. (IMHO)

Emergency (fire and police) personnel from the entire region need to be helping with the rescue and recovery efforts. Police departments need to be sending crews to Nola, not directing game day traffic.

Yesterday afternoon, I would have said the game would be played, hands down. But after the events that have been unfolding, with 80% of Nola flooded, rescue and recovery efforts going on, and will be for days, I am not so sure that it will be now.
