What is this obsession with talent everyone has. Every team in the SEC has some talent on their team. Some a little more than others i will agree but talent alone doesnt mean a damn thing.

I will take heart over talent any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Some of our players have both and some just have talent. And some just need experience to go with that talent.

You dont think Georgia had some talent on the field as well.

Do you think Auburn has more talent than Ga. Tech. If the answer is yes then why didnt they win. Was it the poor coaching. Or maybe it is just that is why they play the games.

Because the truth is their is alot more involved in Football than talent. That is just one of the elements it takes to have a Championship team.

    Talent
    Team Chemistry
    Heart
    Leadership
    Experience
    Coaching
    Luck
    Skill
    Teamwork
    Poise
    Mental Toughness

Name one of those you dont want a team to have.

Some of those are present in every game. But at what level and are you able to maintain them at a high level at the right times.

I would say in the game against Ga. they had alot of these working at a high level. We didnt.

Do we have alot of talent. Yes. So what !!!

We have a tremendous amount of talent on offense. It just appears that we are not gelling as a unit, but we will get there.:champs:

LSU has a lot of "talent" mostly unproven. Don't get me wrong but I don't think the coaches have utilized players to their maximum ability! Take Skyler Green, for example, he was wasted this year LSU could have really used his speed and quickness in more plays, his vision in the open field is superb! Our recievers were suppose to be one of the best groups in the country but they have dropped many balls and just don't look comfortable with the plays. The offense has been out of sink for the past couple of weeks hopefully they will find it in the Peach Bowl against the "U", to end the season on a good note!

I think the injury to alley did hurt us more than people realize. then addia got hurt and played @ less than 100%. it put a huge load on the passing game. I remember in the spring everyone was talking about us being a running powerhouse and being so deep at RB. I wondered at the time if we were as deep as we thought we were.
    food for thought.

I disagree with the fact that Broussard was a monstramental loss. He would have had a great season, but a running back is only as good as the O-line and they have not played up to par this season. With the talent we have at the receiver position we should be able to stretch the field and take some of the pressure off of our running game. Jimbo is hellbent on going power I with to receivers, he needs to line up trips to one side and create some running lanes that way.:tigerhead
