Will parking in "da Dome" be first-come, first serve?

The ferry drops you at the end of Canal street. The Dome is at the OPPOSITE end of POYDRAS street. Quite a hike. Not so bad during the day, but it might be after the game. Well, actually it would be about the same distace as walking to the French Quarter, which thousands will do.

But you better make sure what time the ferry stops running. You don't want to get stuck on the eastbank with your car on the westbank.

 

I agree with some of the previous posts on parking on St. Charles Ave. (Uptown) The St Charles street car runs near the superdome(4 or 5 blocks) and also runs to canal st which puts you striking distance from bourbon st. Take the streetcar back after celebrating an LSU victory victory or cab it.

 

No parking in the dome at all...period
