1. Ok, RiverRidge, how do we get there?
  2. I'm with Ellis Hugh on the across Claiborne parking;
    BIG difference going back to your car late at night as opposed to 4PM.
  3. New Security plan EXCLUDES Dome garages....

    Plarking at NO Center, HEAL Lot, 1515 Poydras, and many flat lots around the area........
  4. This is good advice. And this is what our plan is. Will probably catch the street car around DLS or possibly the River Bend. We'll hump it from there. Then we'll hit the quarter to party before getting either one of my brothers or my sister to come get our drunk asses!

    Another option could be to park in Algiers and take the ferry.
  5. Why don't you just kill yourself now and save some denizen of the underpass the trouble.
  6. According to WAFB, there will be NO PARKING at the dome for security reasons ... anyone driving down on Sunday better get there early!
  7. Confirming TigerWins. Radio this morning said that there will be a fence around the Dome with restricted access. NO PARKING in the Dome parking lots. Not sure about NO Cente. Assuming that will likely be open since it is next door and independent from the Dome.

    Parking will be a mess. Go early. We are parking uptown, taking a cab into the city, and having brunch at 9:30. The cab ride back uptown is the trick. May take a while to flag one down. Flagging a breadtruck may be a little easier...
  8. I assume security will be similar to the Super Bowl ... they had railing all around the Dome and I think they closed Poydras. They'll have checkpoints to enter through and if you don't have a ticket, they won't let you near the Dome.
  9. What about the ferry? Would it be good to park in Algiers and take the ferry? How far away from the Dome is the landing pad. Is it farther than the parking lots are from Tiger Stadium? :) One concern I have is that they normally stop service at midnight. Anyone know who to call to see if they will run later than this? With all of the TV timeouts, the game might still be going on at midnight. ;)
