1. My wife always makes chicken and sausage gumbo, so when we eat out at a restaurant I order seafood gumbo. We always have potato salad with gumbo at home. I keep it separate, but my wife puts the potato salad in the gumbo. I wonder if the potato salad thing is regional. I know in southwest Louisiana we always had potato salad with gumbo. Not sure about people from the Baton Rouge/New Orleans areas.
    Maybe if Muschamp served his recruits gumbo, he would get better players.

  2. I'm from Sulphur/ Westlake/ Lake Charles. Never seen such a thing and never heard of it till this forum threw it up. Maybe for those north of the 10 I suppose

  8. I was born in bourg and raised in new iberia and always had potatoe salad with gumbo (not in the gumbo)
