SCARED?? DID YOU SAY "SCARED"?? WHAT KIND OF TALK IS THAT??

Now, if you would have said, "What's the chance that LSU starts the Sugar Bowl slow and flat? It's not like they haven't started a game slow and flat before. I sure would love to see the team looking mean and sharp from jump street",

THAT would be a good thread.

last year was an even bigger letdown. they had every reason to come out flat in the peach bowl. lost QB, total letdown(try BCS to dec. 29), 11 straight games previously, etc. notre dame has a decent DLine but the rest of their defense is very weak. zbikowski is like the roy williams of college football, he has the publicity stunt going but has horrible hips.

offensively, it will likely be the fastest defense that weis will play. only good defenses he has played(that i can think of) are ohio state last year and michigan this year. they got into a shootout with ohio state and got shut down and embarassed by michigan. our corners are better than ohio state's were(ashton youboty and tyler everett), donte whitner and landry are probably a wash. jesse daniels is better than nate salley. their LBs were better but ours are probably faster. our DLine is much better.

I think LSU will be pumped for their last game, especially the seniors.

I agree with my esteemed fellow Houstonian poster and Tiger Fan, houston tiger!

We should not be flat, we have an opportunity to finish as one of the top 3 teams in the nation. That's plenty motivating to me, after all we've been through the last 2 years. And for the Seniors to go out winners.

I might see us coming out "flat" after six weeks between games. It's up to the senior leadership to make sure we aren't.

That and perhaps Les needs to polish up his Let 'er Rip speech he used at OSU.
