I feel the same way. My only concern was returns. Carey wasnt the workhorse, anyway, regardless of what the numbers say. Addai was the one doing the pounding and taking the harder hits. We havent lost that. I think Vincent brings everything to the game that Carey does, but with more size. Will Vincent be returning punts as well? If not, who? I took for granted the security Dominick Davis gave us in the return game.

I believe that Vincent is the most talented TB on the roster. He is a quick hitter into the hole who will compliment Addai well. Also, I know Shy Carey is sure-handed on punt returns, but I think Skylar brings much more explosiveness to the table. If his hands don't fail him, he can make the big return happen (ie. Arizona game).

    Texastigers,

I'm hard on our coaching staff, with the exception of Charlie Strong, they resemble the Keystone Cops. I love the talent, youth, and heart of our players, but they can only do so much themselves.

I think it will be a close game up until the 3rd quarter with about 10 minutes left. That is when ya'll will pull away and make us look bad. Our players will be fired up for this game just like they were for Miami.

They will be looking for payback in Death Valley to make up for the bad loss in the Swamp last season. The Orange Bowl is no cake walk at night and we did fine there for 3 quarters, so I don't think Death Valley will be much of a factor. Miami has one hell of a home field winning %. If Leak stumbles at all in 2 weeks Ingle Martin can come in.

The only way Florida pulls the upset,

*Leak throws no more that 2 INT's
*LSU overlooks, disrespects, and underestimates Florida
    *Early kick-off
*Florida plays like they did against Miami with the exception that our inept offense doesn't cause our defense to tire out in the 4th quarter again.

Regardless, I will still be here to take my lumps after the loss.

the orange bowl had almost as many florida fans as they did miami fans...u got to be kidding about that statement

early kick-off...i guess u missed the georgia early game....one of the loudest times ever in tiger stadium and quite possible one of the top 5 games there ever

I see no reason why Vincent wouldn't be able to produce. I'm sure Green will be returning punts. He has already been the punt returner a few times. I don't think LSU will loose anything with him returning punts. We know he can catch. He has already proven he is dangerous with the ball in his hands. He has even retuned one for a touchdown already. I don't think there is anything to worry about.

Punt returns really don't worry me. I really like Skyler Green doing PR when I have seen him do it.

Vincent seems to glide he runs so smooth. I was wondering if anybody else was as excited as me about this guys potential.

Yeah, I think Vincent will be the featured back at LSU before he's through. Skyler has all the tools to be a quality returner but he hasn't been back there when the game's on the line yet. Hopefully he will handle the responsibility if he gets the chance. That must be one of the loneliest feelings in football, waiting for a sky (pun intended) high kick to drop while you have 11 guys trying to take your head off, and no halo rule in effect anymore. I think Prude could be dangerous as a punt returner also.
