Boy!!! If this isn't typical of Bama fans I don't know what is. At some point you guys gotta stop living in the past.
Okay we'll stop living in the past if LSU fans will stop living in the past and forget Saban was ever the coach at LSU. i kid i kid. :thumb:
Ahhh classic RedElephants, stirring up trouble with a smile and pushing his luck here. I count three warnings with a smile from three mods on this thread. I hope you are paying attention, sir. BS #1. We don't care how Nick went to Bama, only that he that he left LSU. We think it was a mistake . . . and so does Nick . . . and so do you. BS #2. Three comments: Bama is a new rival, the West has been an LSU/Auburn league in the 21st century. Everybody in the SEC refers to F'n Alabama and have done so for decades. It's a compliment, you doofuses! Bama was the 900 pound gorilla for a long time and is highly respected, but is not spoken of in reverential tones. Tide fans seem to TOTALLY IGNORE that in the off-seasonTWO SEC coaches used the F-word towards the other's fanbase in off-the-record comments that got published by unethical reporters. Nick did it first and the dropping of the F-bomb was secondary to his use of an ethnic slur in offending LSU fans. BS #3. A few LSU fans may, just like a few Bama fans hate Les--you can find both on the boards. Most us don't have "hate" for any coach. It's a friggin' football game, for Heaven's sake! There is heavy fan interest, of course, just like there would be if Francionne came back to play Bama. Do you really "hate" fRan or does he just piss you off a bit? We don't hate Nick. He left to "to pursue his NFL dream" and most of us cut him a lot of slack for it. Who doesn't pursue his dream? But we became disillusioned when it became apparent that he wasn't pursuing his dream, but the almighty dollar, and dropped his dream like a rock. Then we became annoyed when he chose to coach a team in our own Division, insuring an annual contest. Then we became outraged when he attempted to turn a number of our committed recruits by taking credit for LSU's success after his departure and putting down our new coach. Les wasn't happy about that, but it was Nick that took off the gloves.
"IF" LSU were to lose this game, I somehow don't see RedElephant being on board much longer.....just can't see him as being a gracious winner. I wonder what excuses we will hear if LSU wins? Or will he pull a ClaraDawg? Oh, btw, 11/17/07 is coming soon. Prepare to pay dearly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :LSU231:
The SEC as a "whole" has got some really "crappy" officials! Bad calls seem to be common practice with these guys...and it doesn't affect just LSU games, its conference wide. They for sure need to fire some of these clowns at the end of the year...pitiful. About the LSU/Bama game, most of the "flak" seems to be coming from the students and some fans who are stillmore than a little "pizzed" about Saban taking the job to begin with. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that coach Miles is "not" using this to try and pump the team up. Other than that, I think its pretty much gonna be a typical good SEC matchup. One, I hope, my Tigers will win! :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
